About us

Our values

Pentecostal

We embrace and encourage the Holy Spirit’s diverse gifts and teach that God’s power is available to believers through the baptism of the Holy Spirit which is ‘evidenced’ by the gift of speaking in tongues.

Contemporary church

Simply means to be relevant to our generation. To communicate in a way that relates to both the believers and unbelievers.

Excellence

Excellence honours God and inspires people. Our goal is to be excellent in all areas of church and life. We simply desire to give God and people the best, which means we encourage our teams to look for ways to raise their ‘game’, to be relevant for our generation.

Word of Faith

We believe God’s Word is essential for life transformation. As people learn who they are in Christ, their authority as believers they will experience victory in all areas of their life and will grow to the fullness of Christ and see God’s plans through them

Small groups

We believe members grow in their faith by being a part of the larger celebration services as well as belonging to a small group or team where they can serve God and learn to do life together.

Our statement of faith

The Bible

We believe the Bible is God’s written Word to all men, divinely inspired by God and written by godly men under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth without any mixture of error, and is therefore the final authority on all matters of Christian beliefs and behaviour.

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully Man, and is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless human life and died on the cross in our place. He rose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He returned to heaven to be seated at the right hand of the Father, and will return to earth again to reign as King of kings and Lord of lords.

Man

We believe Man was created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him. But, through disobedience the whole human race became separated from God and His purposes for their lives. Even though, every person has the potential to do good, all people are blemished with a nature called ‘sin’ that results in eternal death.

Salvation

We believe salvation is God’s free gift to man. Man can never make up for ‘sin’ by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from

sin’s penalty. When people turn from their self-ruled lives and in faith turn to Jesus Christ, they are saved. Eternal life begins the moment a person receives Jesus Christ into his life.

Water Baptism

Water Baptism by immersion symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and is a public declaration that a person has accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Baptism does not save a person, but shows the world that they have already been saved. And while baptism is not required for salvation, it is a biblical command and demonstrates their love and obedience to Christ.

God

We believe there is only one God who is Creator of all things, who exists eternally as three Persons – Father, Son and Holy – Spirit being co-equal.

Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God and is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the believer with supernatural power to be a witness to the truth of the Gospel. Believers need to stay filled with the Holy Spirit, for everyday living, understanding of spiritual truth and guidance to do what is right. The Christian seeks to live under His leadership daily.

Eternity

We believe man was created to exist forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or eternally together with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God results in eternal death (Hell). To be eternally together with God results in eternal life (Heaven). Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence.

The Devil

We believe in the existence of the devil and his past and present operation to deceive people. We believe in his past defeat through Jesus Christ’s sacrificial death on the Cross, and his future eternal judgement in the Lake of Fire together with his angels. The believer has victory over satan through the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony.

Miracles and Divine Healing

We believe in the empowering of every believer to work miracles by the present-day operation of the Holy Spirit. We believe in divine healing of the physical body by God’s power the same as in the early church.
